The data remains saved even after power loss, allowing offline operation to be initiated anytime via the motherboard's multifunction button. =====Vibration Protection===== MEMS: built in The NEJE 5 motherboard integrates a MEMS gyroscope detection mechanism to prevent the device from operating at an angle. If tilting is detected, the device immediately stops working to avoid accidental damage. =====Buttonless Limit-Triggered Technology===== The motherboard can detect physical collisions, eliminating the drawbacks of traditional physical buttons prone to damage. Its structure is simpler, lifespan longer, and motion smoother and more intelligent. =====Wireless Connection===== It can be directly connected via NEJE Win software or the NEJE APP without requiring mobile phone configuration. Alternatively, set the NEJE Win software to 'Bridge' virtual serial port mode to wirelessly link LaserGRBL and LightBurn software to the device. ====="REC" Receive Files===== Send files without starting operation, or send files and directly begin operation. Users can customize shortcut buttons in laserGRBL and LightBurn software to streamline workflow. $REC/AutoRun $REC Auto/Run $REC/AutoStart $REC Auto/Start The 'REC' function is a file transfer feature specially designed by NEJE firmware for LaserGRBL and LightBurn software. Traditional LaserGRBL and LightBurn workflows require maintaining real-time data communication between the computer and the device—users cannot shut down their computers during operation, as the process occupies the computer continuously. The 'REC' function resolves this issue by first transferring the complete file to the device, after which users can initiate the job either through the software or the device's physical button. Once started, the computer can be turned off, allowing the device to operate independently. ===== OFF-Line Working===== The motherboard button is a multifunctional key. Press and hold to enter NEJE mode, indicated by the yellow LED turning on. In NEJE mode: First press: Reset Second press: Define workspace Double press: Start operation During operation: Single press: Pause Second press: Resume Press and hold: Stop The device defaults to GRBL mode (yellow LED off). After data packets are transmitted to the device via the 'REC' function in NEJE Win, LightBurn, or laserGRBL software, the multifunctional button can also be used to initiate complex projects. Users can expand button functionality by connecting an external button to the C1 interface, which mirrors the motherboard button's operations. ===== M8 M7 DOOR Interface Function Expansion ===== {{https://nejetool.oss-us-west-1.aliyuncs.com/wiki/neje5/relay.jpg?500x500}} Under normal circumstances, the M8 function serves as a high-pressure gas assist system (exceeding 30psi), which enhances cutting efficiency and quality—particularly when processing materials like MDF and hardwood, or during batch production, where high-pressure gas significantly improves throughput. Both NEJE software and LightBurn allow users to activate the M8 gas assist function through their respective settings. The M7 function can also be customized and enabled in both NEJE and LightBurn software. ===== Power Input ===== The DC 5.5×2.1mm connector supports an input voltage of 12V or 24V. It is recommended to power the NEJE Max4 motherboard platform with 24V to maximize its motion performance. The input voltage must match the power requirements of the laser module and the voltage of external M8/M7 devices; otherwise, it may damage the motherboard. The recommended load current is less than 5A.. The motherboard uses a 4-pin + 2-pin configuration to power the laser: the 2-pin design reduces cable current to prevent overheating and interface damage caused by high current, ensuring system stability. The power supply current selection depends on power matching. The input power (voltage × current) must exceed the sum of the laser's input power and motor power. ===== Connection via USB and Bluetooth ===== USB: USB2.0 Bluetooth: built in =====Rotary Attachment Expansion===== Supports independent A-axis expansion. The motherboard includes one 5-pin interface, allowing customers to connect an independent motor driver module to enable additional automation functions and applications. Alternatively, you can directly purchase the NEJE R5 or NEJE R6 multifunctional rotary axis modules, which can be plugged in and used immediately. Users can select upgrade options through the menu in NEJE Win software. Additionally, customers can customize device parameters via laserGRBL and LightBurn software to optimize motion settings, Z-axis configuration, work area, and other functional adaptations. Show page
